Just got word that Josh Downs is a new daddy. 8 lb. baby girl born this morning. I hear that she looks like her momma. Thank goodness. Congrats to Josh and Leslie.

Madeleine Denton Downs was born this past Wednesday, 8lbs 1oz. She hit the ground running, too! Can already hold her own head up for a short while (no travis, her head is MUCH smaller and prettier than mine), and the doctor said she couldn't possibly be healthier. I thank the good Lord above for delivering her to Lesley and I in good health, plus giving good health back to Lesley after the surgery.

I've been out of pocket since Madeleine was born, as we are also building a new home and I've held Barlow and 8 concrete trucks hostage for the last week. (new baby and new kennel, what else could I ask for )

Anyway, mom and baby are doing great. Thanks everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and best wishes. I'll post some pictures later this week.
