Well, guys, got up this morning and went to cook out. There wasn't but a handful of us there, but,we ate good and the other guys did some shooting.I didn't shoot, but Anatidae, introduced my 10yr old dare devil to skeet shooting and now,he's wanting the thrower, gun and all, lol. This was my first time and I want to say that i enjoyed meeting these guys and having some very good fellowship with them.My wife and children enjoyed themselves as well and we're definately planning on being there next time too.My wife took a picture of all of us together with her digital camera and then when we got home, she, customized the picture for me.It is posted in East Mississippi Duckers for all to see or if ya want e-mail me and I'll send it to ya. Wow! If it wasn't for Jeff and Featherduster, I'd swear that that was a pic from the Parchman cookout! HAHAHAHA!

Thanks to Anat. for having us! Thanks to the Starkville Gun Club for putting up with us! Had a great time. Booger's story about getting married by Elvis was worth the trip. Enjoyed meeting everyone. What a drive. Time for a nap.

I'm glad you're back home safe GC, yeah a lot of fun. I don't know how much trouble or pre-shoot work is involved (a bunch I'm sure) but thanks again Anatidae & GH22 or anyone else I may have forgot. I feel reasonably tuned up for the season and thank goodness I'm almost out of the 3" Nitro Mag lead #4's!!

gh2000 - Pic looks good, I went and joined and checked it out. Fast work.

Now, back to fussin' & cussin'

Thanks for the pic GHH2000. Really enjoyed the cookout, shoot. Big thanks to Anatidae and GH22 and anyone else who helped organize. We got back this morning and couldn't help but to stop on the way looking at a couple of holes. Nothing yet, but sure felt good in the cool air looking at the water!!!! To anyone who missed it, you missed some good food and poor shootin'.

I hate that I didn't make it out earlier. But I enjoyed meeting all the new guys that were still there. I can't wait until the next one. Hopefully more people will be able to attend!
