Local dove population looks to be in good shape

Local dove population looks to be in good shape

Is anyone else seeing more doves this year as compared to last year at this time? There seems to be an increase in the local population in my area. Just hope they stick around til Sept. 1.

Mark,
I was in the hills on Thursday and saw more doves than in the past years at this time of the year. I was in Itta Bena on Friday and saw a good bit there also.

yes, im seeing more, really around where we are irragating. it seems more than a tipical year.

I drove from Vicksburg to Greenvile Sat. afternoon. all up hyw1 it looked more like the end of Aug. than the end oy July........Hope they stick around!

I've seen them thick all year. We were seeing them back in May...looked like September.

I've also seen alot of doves all year, I hope they stay til Oct.
