Featherlite Decoys?

Postby BigLou2 » Wed Jul 16, 2003 4:23 pm

Where can I buy some Featherlite Decoys like the duck comander uses? They are photo relistic and you blow them up. If you have any info please pass it on.

Either Macks or Cabela's is carrying Featherlites this year. My local hunting store got some in and I bought a dozen. Can't wait to try them out.

Tell me about it! I gonna fell a little funny sitting out there in the dark talking to my buddies and stopping to blow in a duck's booty! But hell they are so lite and realistic and you can carry a lot of them way back in the woods or out in a field. I hunted over a friend of mine's last year and they are awesome. You talk about some action from those suckers on the water. It looked like ducks swimming around all over the place with the slightest breeze. thanks for the info, I am placing my order for a dozen right now!

Over the years a few of my dekes in my assorted deke collection for some unknown reason have lost their keels. I have noticed that these swim all over the place on calm days of course the drawback is when the wind blows they turn over. Anyway, their pretty cool when the wind is right and I think effective.

Lou, not that my opinion counts for anything, but I saw some of them in action one day and posted about it here:

Thanks for the info! I get lazy in my old age and forget to search the messages for such valuable information. I will keep this in mind this year when I go and make my purchase for some decoys.
