Only stipulation Mr. PO Sted informed me of was he didn't want me to use any decoys on his place and to wear plenty of camo and always wear a facemask so as to distinguish me from the "poachers" on his game cams...

Funny the folks that come here from Oklahoma etc to turkey hunt thinking it is as easy as back home. WRONG!!!! Guy got home and his buddy asked him how many he killed on his 5 day hunt and he replied..... ZERO and didn't care to tangle with our birds anymore.

FYI, the MWTF will pay up to $500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone illegally hunting or killing a wild turkey in MS.

I know of several people like that. If you ask them how many they've killed it's allwasy the same answer, 2. They just don't ever seem to kill that 3rd one until the last day.... These same people kill way more deer than they are supposed to as well.
We really need to implement a tagging system here like they do in other states, both for deer and turkey!

Oh and for all you "turkey killers", B-Mobile is to turkey hunting what the robo duck was to duck hunting. Mark my word.

I agree. B-Mobile, Pretty Boy, etc... they have changed the way hunters use decoys.... It's different than using the standard hen decoy.

B-Mobile will allow any regular Joe to kill a gobbler and never call a lick. Call me old fashioned, call me judgemental.. .call me MSDUCKMEN... but turkey hunting is an art.. a sacred spring ritual. We already use shells and guns that can kill turkeys out to 75yds... now we don't have to learn how to call.. just sleep in and get out there at 11 and put B Mobile up and wait.

I agree, especially on the shells and guns that reach out to 75 yards. I just been using a 2 3/4" 12 gauge rem wingmaster with a modified choke, and put the 3 1/2 up this spring.
What decoy's, there wasn't any decoy's here when i got here!

Why do that and risk injuring a bird? Just keep using the 3.5" and exercise some self restraint. Just becasue the gun you're shooting is capable of killing a turkey at 75 yards doesn't mean that you have to shoot them at that range. They work pretty good in close too.

Haven't had no problem with injuring a bird, i'm just not that good with that self control  . If i had taken my 3 1/2 with me my season would have been over already
