Guys, a guy at work needs to get rid of a 7 month old intact male CBR. I don't know much about the dog other than it's been in a kennel with a black lab. I have a brother to this dog. Great dog, good drive and my dog has shown me alot about CBR's. My dog has been great with marks, sit stay and everything else except "Come", but the check cord is doing wonders. Dog doesn't have papers but neither does mine. Light brown/Blonde looking color. Came from the pound in March. He has to get rid of the dog for eating a few of his chickens. email or post if interested. baldduck

A CHICKEN EATIN CHESSIE........ good luck on a new home.....take the chicken out of his mouth and he will probably taste you....haha..... not a dog to qualify for a first time retriever owner... sounds like a good tracker dog for wounded deer... the best retriever i ever saw was a chessie,,, the 10 worst dogs i ever seen were chessies... lots of stamina, a good one is great, a bad one is not worth his weight in salt....

I know of a single friend of mind who wants a dog. He is a duck hunter alike. He lives in my old house on 190 acres. Do you think he would stay outside a pen?

duckhuntalot, I talked to my buddy and he said he should be fine. Only reason he's in a kennel is cause of the chickens and cause of his horses. He got out and got the chickens that's why he's got to go. baldduck
