Duck_nutt no one is laughing. I'm glad there are some who don't know this guy. He is a disgrace. The city of Memphis was once one of the grand old cities of the South but no longer. It has one of the highest criminal and murder rates in the country. Its political system is infested with rats and the mayor has been entrenched for 4 consecutive terms and had just begun his 5th. Some have thought he made a deal to step down after the last election.

He was on FOX 13 last night and cried. Give me a break, said he wanted to be the Superindendant of Memphis City schools because they had gone down so bad after he left. I agree he has gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. I would say the Bass Pro deal is one of the projects he got his hand greased on.

No money of much significance has even changed hands on that, they just keep signing non-binding letters of intent, in my opinion bass pro pyramid will never happen. If they got him on something, which im sure they do, its way bigger than bass pro.

Believe he has 19 years in and if he does 1 year as superintedent of the school sys he can retire at 80% pay. Always some motive to his actions.

They knew all this during the election several people said it publicaly, He will be after the School Supper's position now, remember he actualy worked with the city councle to the them a raise a year or two ago, They make more thay he does and have less on his shoulders and gets him out of the feds radar.
