I am from AR. Could I enter my dog she is just shy of 9 months old? Just wondering it would be a long drive but it is a great charity who one of my cousins benefited from a couple years ago. Just wanting to support it and have some fun at the same time. :P

We should be good to go for the call raffle. I got an email from Rusty @ RNT today. They have the Catch-A-Dream logo design at the shop from a prior request for a call donation. They are right in the middle of repainting the entire building and adding a couple of smaller rooms for machinery. The call won't be done quickly, but it should be taken care of before the hunt test. I told them to decide between wood and acrylic, since it is a call donation.

Hey, that's great!! I'm thinking we do a $5 pot drawing or something similar. We really don't have the time to do a full scale raffle. Good work GH.....

Pot drawing would probably work best and get more interest.

We have just aquired some new grounds for the fun charity dog event!! Thanks to Justin Brown, we are moving the test just around the corner to a beautiful facility that includes a nice fishing lake. You don't want to miss this opportunity to run your dogs at this paradise. They also have a floating swimming dock, and nice pier system to fish from. Thanks Justin!!

Here are a few pics.

Just spoke to Mr. Louie Garrett that owns the land where the hunt has been moved to. He wanted to let anyone from out of town know that there is plenty of room to park a RV or camper or set up tent. Even though electricity and water is available on the land, at this time there are no hookups. He will have the gates open all day Friday and Friday night for anyone wanting to come down early. He also says to bring swimsuits and fishing gear and make a family fun day out of it if you would like.

Hey folks! Please send your entries in this week if you haven't already. We have a bunch of stuff to purchase and that's means less money out of our pockets. It will also help us with a better idea of a t'shirt count so we can order the proper quantity.

The event is getting closer and it's time for a big push. Please help promote this event by telling everyone you know and see. I know I have three different folks coming that own labs but don't hunt test. They just want to see what it's all about.

Don't forget about the available fishing and swimming for the kids if they get bored watching the dogs.

Last but not least, remember why we are doing this. To promote some fun dog stuff with our MsDucks friends and to help the kids from Catch-A-Dream!! I can't think of a better way to spend a day.

Im sending in my money tomorrow am. May not be able to come and run Lily, but its for a great cause anyway. Oh, and DIB lets not let any of the adults in the water, we probably dont want to scare the kids away.
