I don't fish shallow until the water temp hits between 58 and 60. When it gets there it is time to pull the waders back out

you right, and its going to be a few weeks. Usually the first of April in Ms

Round these parts when the dogwoods are blooming, the slabs are in the bushes.

I went last weekend and caught 102. most were small. about 20 of them were 1 pound range. Went a few days later and caught about 40 small ones. I'm catching crappie consistently now....just not biguns
