GPS

Postby duckkiller » Thu Feb 28, 2008 3:20 pm

I am in the market for another GPS, I have always liked Garmin's and I have the E-trex legend now. I like the Vista HCx, and was wondering if any of you had one and how you like it

I will deff. be buying another Garmin, and I was thinking about the 76 but I couldn't find it anywhere. Also can you buy cards to insert into the 76 series?

What kind of deal can you get on the Garmin map software? If I recall, it is $100+ at Bass Pro.

Bass pro has me beat on the software itself, but i can get the auto navigation kits for 160.00 theres is 190.00. The only thing is i would have to check the version of the cd since they came out with the 2008 version already.

I went from a legend to the vista hcx. I like the vista alot, but it is harder for me to see the screen on the vista than the legend. Other than that, it is sweet.

I ended up buying a vista off of ebay a while back. I am pretty dumb when it comes to electronics and i can still manage to do with it what I need to. I have been happy with it so far.
