Costa Del Mar Warranty?

Postby duckkiller » Tue Feb 26, 2008 9:20 pm

Like an idiot I dropped my brand new pair tonight on the floor and shattered the lense. These glasses are less than a week old and I was wondering if anyone has had to have any warranty work done and how they went about doing it?

Mitchell, they Warranty is legit. Stay in touch with them while they're doing it. Oh if you rip the C off the side they are more likely to fix it fo free.

Sent mine back because the rubber on the arms were falling off and they fixed them free of charge, but i had to pick up the shipping. I just went to the website, printed out the form and mailed them.

I bought a pair about 4 years ago from a sun glass hunt in the birmingham mall and the sales person asked me do I trust him I said I guess why he said watch I said if they mess up you pay. He got his car keys out and started hitting the lense of the pair I was going to buy. When i say hit he was hitting it hard and it never scratched them. He said they were virtually scratch proof and unless something out of the ordinary happend they were pretty much shatter proof and so far he has been right. I have dropped on concrete and ran over with 4 wheeler and lense are still in tact with no scratches

580 glass lense's dont like concrete I know that  Well there customer service called me yesterday(less than 12hrs after I filled out the form online) and told me they would take care of them, and since they were so new if I would mail a copy of the recipte they would take care of it for me. Now my old pair is having the same trouble some of you are talking about, they are 4 years old and some of the rubber on the ear piece is coming off. Once I get my new ones back I will be mailing the old ones off to get fixed as well.
