new Ducks

new Ducks

Mallards finaly show up and they did by the thousands. Went Sunday to drain the Birdroost and couldn 't find it in my heart going to give them one more week. have not seen this amount of ducks all year

Had the day off and went to my favorite public land duck hole and saw lots of green. Took my camera and got a few shots. Can't wait to get them developed to see what I got.

I'm going to try to get some pics this weekend.. I went to my duck hole this past weekend and could not belive all the birds that we had on our place!!

Craps all hard in these parts - ducks must all be in Mississippi! :mrgreen:

im at work. thats why im on here at 2:30am. anyway before i came to work we went to our blind to rescue all the decoys we left in a sack in the blind. I could not believe the number of birds we had. I dont know about the rest of you guys but i think there count on pintails is a little light?? We are, and were durring season, ate up with pintails!!

We saw and killed more Pintails than ever before on our lease. I love those birds!

Roger that!! i really could not believe the number of pintalis. All B.S aside I think i would be accurate in saying that we worked and set more Pintails in the spread than we did gray ducks or smileys!! We had a schett load of teal though. I have one sprig at the taxidermist now. late season bird so the plumage was incredible! not to mention the long double sprig. i will try to post picture but not sure if i can.
