Re: Favorite Fish to Eat out of the Gulf
We have a greek resturant in town that is an awsome place to eat, i had FRESH salmon tonight, they had it flew in, with lump crab meat on top. Man oh Man was it fine! expensive, but its the wifes birthday and it was well worth it.
Oh year Grouper is very hard to beat as well. although i have heard that tripletail is fine table fare as well.
I hope to try some spoonbill catfish out of grand lake in another month when they start to make there run!
Here to fine eating!

An AJ sandwhich on the way in is pretty hard to beat. But grouper is the best, lagniappe does it the right in orange beach, try grouper in a bag. just ask if it is not on the menu.
Ricky's is really good though.

Re: Favorite Fish to Eat out of the Gulf
my favorite is the black fish also known as the triple tail....closely followed by grouper than tuna.....and just gotta let youll know that Rickeys is not in Waveland, its in Bay St. Louis....I ate takeout from there today for lunch..shrimp fettuccine and fried calamari.....dammmmm good, Id be willing to say they have taken over the crown from Trappeny's....definetly the most bang for the buck!!!! and the food consistenly great...Rickeys used to be located down on Coleman ave in Waveland prior to the big wind driven water storm named Katrina, lol place is easy to find, head down 90 like your going to casino and its behind the burger king in the strip mall...
