duckhnter, I think SDHC is legit and they've been around for a few years.

SDHC is legit for sure. I hunt near their club and have had good ducks the past two seasons.

I talked to the guy that is in charge a few years ago. I think his name was Mr. Ward, but I can't recall. Seemed like a real nice guy. I think the membership dues were $2500 a year for deer and duck.

Rip Em. About 10 minutes northeast of Onward. Had a lot of ducks in that area, but real tough to work em.

The price of the lease is $3500. That is all-inclusive, and the club pays
for all the upkeep, planting of food plots, flooding, bills for the lodges,
etc. This is a "turn-key" club where all you have to do is bring your gun
and clothes, although any help from the members is always greatly
appreciated. I either do or hire out all the work for the club which puts me
on the premises about every 2 weeks, making sure that everything gets put in
place for all the members. You may bring a guest with you at all times, and
may bring additional guests equal to the number of members that aren't there
on that particular day.

With 12 duck blinds for 8 members, we certainly have no problem with
overcrowding. Our goal as a club is to have a place with good hunting,
comfortable lodging, and no crowding at an affordable/competitive price. We
have 3 membership openings for this year, all three are expansion slots. We
only allowed 5 total members last year and all of them plan on returning.

That is pretty funny. I know some of the guys associated with this club and in the past years they wouldn't have killed a duck if it pitched by the rubber duck in their bath tub. Hehe! !!!

But, it has nothing to do with the amount of ducks on the property. Put it this way. If you hunt over there, you had damn sure better know how to call.
