AJs is pretty good. I like Shapleys. If you like escargot, they have the best I have ever eaten. Steaks are great too.

I like Ticos or Shapely's for steak, Parker House is good as well. If you head towards Madison and you want something different then try Anthony Z's (awesome enchillada's and you can bring your own wine). If you want good BBQ, then try the Pig Pen in Ridgeland (good bbq nachos) or the Haute pig in Madison. Also try Julep, you have to try the Catfish Tacos, Keifer's, etc..... I'm a fat Boy!! :D

If you like PF Changs, stop going there and go to Pan Asia on county line road (close to where old canton and county line meet, by beagle bagel). The food is incredible and the drinks are better. It is one of the best kept secrets in jackson. When they say something is hot on the menu, it is HOT

I second that notion for sure!

The Mayflower in downtown is some of the best seafood I have ever had in Jackson.

Wife and I went to Shapleys not long ago for the first time and I really didn't think it was in the same ballpark as Tico's as far as the steaks go. We like AJ's too. Haven't tried Char or the Parker House yet but they are on the menu. I highly recommend the large filet at Tico's.

I'm with you! They have the best filets around.
