Jeff, the acrylic never split on this one but I saw him go through two other calls before getting one that wouldn't. I put some pics on the classifieds. The pics don't do the call justice but you can get a general idea.

I like custom calls and I have to recommend Howard Harlen and The Heavy Duty Duck Call Co.

This is a three panel checkered cocobola call and she sounds as good as she looks.

This is an Eddie Cribb special in Bacote also a great choice.

I like yankees... as long as they keep their gas tanks full and cars headed north.

Southern Game Calls acrylic Nasty Boy. I bought one this season and it made me retire my Rich n Tones (short barrel and daisy cutter). It's all a matter of opinion and that's my .02.

i bought a $5.00 call from southern game calls at the wildlife expo this last aug.. i was like what the hell can't go wrong with a five dollar call.

that damn thing put a jinx on me that even that witch doctor who was shrinking heads during the super bowl couldn't take off.

first group of shoverls of the year came over the pit in the early a.m. light.. course i thought they they were "big" ducks and since i had seen'em first i immediatly grab for my call.. i hit that ol luceille with a sweet little comeback cadence and the fake brass ring broke in half and the stopper fell out along with all the guts. but the call sounded good and the shoves broke right back around just like we had drawn it up on a chalkboard. i rose to fire as they settled into the decoys and the cap flew of my benelli and a springload full of parts flew off into the rice field. dam shoves went down everwhere and them boys was excited cause.. well cause we waz shooting.. damn if i didn't shoot nothing but bootlips until today.. we finally wore out some other ducks today..

i blame all the shov shooting this year on the bad omen brought on me by the lucille call breaking apart..
