Flu sucks

Had the flu all last week stayed in bed for 4 days.

yes. According the doc it was the strand that the flu shot does not prevent.

seems liek I read somewhere that the flu shot is basically the strain of the flu they predict will bethe epidemic...no real garauntees you will not get it

guess thats why they still call medicine a practice

Know the feeling, its no fun, the flu along with a sinus infection had me laid up for a solid week, still not 100%.

I don't think I have the flu, but do have the upper respiratory and trying everything to get rid of it before I get on a plane to go skiing sunday at 6 am.

Heard on the news last night were 2 kids in MS died from the flu. So sad.

Been down since Friday, finally limped into work this morning and got back in the bed. Up around 11:00 and FINALLY had the urge to eat.

have had the upper respiratory thing for a week now. Feels like there is a huge weight on my chest when i breath. I have coughed so much I am sore, and my lungs sound like I am drownding. Ran fever several days with it as well.
There will be a day....

What happened?? Did the parent's let it go on too long before seeking treatment, or is the flu that deadly with kids?

pediatric cases - infants most likely, little immune systems couldn't fend it off.
