Buck in hog trap

Anybody Know anything about this. I got it in a email today said it was caught in a hog trap around grenada, but you all know how email rumors go.

Deer looks awfully small to be from around here with that big a rack. Looks more like a Texas deer.

my brother in law found a 15inch 8 point in a hog trap Sunday on the way to his stand, he took some pics and video and released him as he was not camp standard.
If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

we trap all the time at our place, and on several occassions had the GW's come and run them with us in the spring/summer but it was always my understanding that you couldnt run them durring deer season for this very reason.

the only hog trap is a round trap. we've caught over 100 this hunting season in our round ones !!

I have always made mine 8ft long and 5.5ft wide, I guess I have never seen or used a round one but hey whatever works right :wink:

Please tell me ya'll are joking about shooting a deer caught in a hog trap. Just something that rubs me wrong about that. Not even sure if it's legal. :?

No i just had it sent to me. the email I recieved said it was caught around grenada, but my cousin said it was actually caught between the levees in between Lake Village and Eudora Ark.
