Help Please...
One of my friends went for his final hunt Sunday and done quite well in a sense....killing 4 mallards! However, he also killed something that looks quite weird to me. He said as they were leaving walking out they scared up 3 mallards and they shot. He said he missed and this thing looked as though it was about to get up as well. So he shot, thinking it was another mallard. He went to pick it up and saw that it wasn't. It looks like a goose but has a mallard's head. The head is a greenish purple...depending on which way you look. It's back is the same but has green and white wings and a white belly. The underside of the neck is also white. I told him I had no clue as to what it could be unless some type of goose and mallard got it on and produced it. That or its someones pet. Idk what to tell him and was hoping ya'll might know.....
