We ended up with 427 as compared to 549 last year. Last year was a really good year so I guess I would classify this year as average.

Hopefully I will add one more to that list, I have another daughter that will be looking to get her first next weekend.

60% of last year's total.
40% of total 2 years ago.

overall a bad year - primarily due to lack of any big rains to fill our brake. No 4" deluge as we typically get in December.

Worst season in long time for me!
By my calculations, each duck I killed cost me $200.
I know, I know you can't put a dollar amout to it, but it
sure helps justify the next year if that number is much lower.
However it did end on a poitive note! Pics to follow...

34 between November 17 and January 27.

Hunts, not ducks. Spent a week on injury reserve, stayed home for New Year's Eve for the first time in 14 years, and a Christmas party or would have been more.

Our worst season ever

Postby pelahatchie dawg » Tue Jan 29, 2008 8:40 am

18 Ducks all season. No water! Well is on order. We did kill three nice bucks at the duck hole so I guess it wasn't a total loss, two nine's and a ten point.

Hunted 30 days.... far less than my high of 53, and 6 off of last years.

Duck total 60% of last years, and 40% of two years ago. Only one of two skunks, but several 3-8 bird days. Only two limit hunts!
