When does LA season open?

Now thats not nice Anat...71 days off just to hunt ducks. Now, you know your screwing up the whole AHM system with that kind of effort. You better keep that quiet...if the Fed's find out there gonna tweek their modeling and lower our bag limits...I really think you should cut back on that effort...don't ya think. HAHAHA!

Yeah, you're right......I'll cut-back to 70 days.....how's that? [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] I'll need a day's rest after hunting 35 in a row.

Huntin' 70 (plus or minus a day) surely wouldn't influence the figures that much...considering the average hunter hunted 11 days and killed a grand total of 9 ducks.....or would it? [img]images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img] I would assume researchers consider THAT percentage of hunters who go more often. The break-down on the HIP survey is something like......
<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>less than 11<LI>11-30<LI>30 or more</UL>

I'm with the 'Goose' on this one.....What DEM figures 'bout, HAH? [img]images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img] Maybe that's an indication of the number of folks that go one time (opening day) and didn't fire a shot......and took-up 'tidly winks' or something. [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

Damn nation Randy, I thought I had it set to work three days a week the whole season, but 71 days that is awesome. I am envious. Bill I have heard numerous good reports about the teal bein' down. However on Wed we shot two in Buras on Wed, and my buddy shot one in Delacroix on Monday, so I don't know what to think about them. I do have to believe that there should be some down here big time. I did see some big ducks down on Wed, which was early for that, so we ought to be good come Nov! Thought I needed to remind ya of the Nov. 8 openin date.
