Is that a Golden Retriever? How does he/she do? I've got one but don't hunt him. He's more of a "Swamp Collie" - loves to play and get filthy, even roll around in a dead fish ever so often. When clean, we let him in and he's a rug.

New Pic's
Here's some pic's from the weekend - went to hunt the Canvasbacks with my old buddy. Ended up with two - one drake, one hen. Had an awesome time hunting out of the layout boat in 15 feet of water.

What makes me most proud is the old Canvas duck strap I got from my grandfather when he passed away back in 1995. An old duck hunter would be proud. It will be handed down forevermore.
I love the canvas duck strap. we have three that we use. ours are bloodstained from probably 40 years of mallard blood.

dukter you look real comfy in that boat ha
Well the ducks aren't flying much over the 'ol duck hole (except just after dusk I see 1000 - 1500 flying to an un-named roost area nearby), so we've been deer hunt'n!
My wife took this nice 9 pt. on Saturday afternoon. She made a great shot at over 100 yards, and was just thrilled. It was an awesome day for all of us. The next morning we duck hunted before we skinned the buck- hence the photos in the water.
