My boy did me proud on this mornings hunt....

Rocco hadn't picked up but one duck all year so far. This morning, he picked up 16. He never saw a duck hit the water because we were hunting below a field road, and he was in his crate. Every retrieve was a blind, most very easy with ducks clearly visible. He nailed them all, and even got to retrieve a triple. It was running water, but he did great. Finally got to see all that training pay off!! Couple of pics......

Well i did not hunt this weekened glad you and ROCCO had some birds , But i did go and train with Chuck McCall and had a blast , Tess is entered in her 1st Q and you guessed it Chuck is going to handle her for me , you know i will have a brain fart , way before she does , so wish her some good luck .

DIB, it looks like yall had a heck of a hunt! Its good to see that rocco finally got some good hunting in before the season closed. All that training must of really paid off! It's about time to start training hard again as soon as the season ends!

Thanks guys!!

GC - Roc was in a crate because we were field hunting, no where to hide. He can't see the marks hit the water anyway, so I used his crate as a hiding blind. Worked damn well!! Plus, I didn't have to say, "no, sit, here, no, sit, here..." a thousand times.

CC - We will hopefully kill some ducks in the morning!

Chessie - YOU DAMN RIGHT HE'S THE SON OF 6X GRHRCH BOSSMAN!! :D
