Taxidermist in NW Miss

Who does everyone use? Someone the other day recommended Billy Warren in Water Valley. Anyone had any deer mounted by him? If so, did he do a good job?

Billy did two for me. He did a GREAT job and is very reasonably priced. Next deerI put on the wall will go back to him

I take all my stuff to jim nelson in cleveland, and always thought he did a good job. Several friends have deer at cole davis's place, hes supposed to be good also.

i have used cole davis, jim nelson, and Ken hawes (now in saltillo, but travels to Clarksdale several times a week.

Cole does great work but is high and takes well over a year to get the mount back

I have had nelson do 4 for me and my wife. i was happy with 2 and not so happy with two.

Ken hawes will get the rest of my work. His work is a good as cole and he is cheaper and faster.

Billy Warren in Water Valley, or Jody Shoults about 10 miles east of Como they both do great work.

Someone told me that Mr. Warren does not send the hides to be tanned. Does anyone know? The mount will lasts longer with a tanned hide doesnt it?

Probably tans them himself?

I don't think you can do it without tanning the hide. Otherwise, it would rot.

Warren does a ok job, some better than others. I would use Ben Merrs in Mantachie or Calvin Patton in Como

Ted Addison in Southaven does real good work. He takes a while because he is usually covered up during hunting season. Banded Duck Taxidermt.

Marcell guy from town of enid. Jack uses some guy in Como does a great job. Call if you need numbers i done got where i don't get to check site to often. bb

jackie davis in pontotoc he does all my mounts and does great! i've brought animals to him that chipper jones and bill jordan and al the other guys from realtree to mount and they all have said that he is the best that they've seen..
it's rainin, it's sleetin, and it's snowing..well looks like im going huntin!
