Since we were going to the Alluvian New Years party, and last years was our first "date" of sorts, it seemed like the right time. I called in a favor or two, and had the Terrace Room on the 4th floor all to our selves. I snuck off at 11 and setup the room, roses, champaign, 2 Redel champaign flutes, all setup in front of the fireplace. At 11:30 when everyone started heading to the big tent to count down, I took her up to the 4th floor. We sat down, opened the champaign, and I asked.

Ummm...you started out high, my friend.

I proposed at Sherman's over shrimp and Coca Cola with a guitar.

Start low, my boy, and you can work up as the years go by.

Congrats!

Nope, brotha..... your on your own there. THANK GOD!!!

Mine is just haveing the "Where and when are we going to do this blues"

Good thing, she doesn't really care where we have the wedding. and all she really wants is a dress.

Bad thing, she doesn't really care where we have the wedding and is threatening of making me plan it   If that happens, it will be on a beach in Key West few invites. BIG party when we get back, all are welcome :D
