SEC

Congrats to LSU. Something I've noticed about SEC schools and fans.....for the most part they pull for each other. LSU just won the National Title, and you could hear the fans and the players at various times chanting "SEC".....I don't see that with other conferences, correct me if I'm wrong....I love it. I have friends and visit ACC "country" all the time, and most folks I run into don't understand why I pull for other teams in the conference

i hear ya on that.. it was awsome game and hearing the fans chant lsu--sec... seems i heard some of the commentators talking about dominant teams in a comference and he said you dont another conference with so many teams like an LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Tennesses, and Georgia's like the SEC has in it.. and that LSU played in one of the toughest conferences this year and lost their two games in triple OT is the first team in BSC era to win two National Championships and the first 2-loss team to win a National Championship..

GO SEC!!!!

but they still said that OSU was one year early and that their '08 season coming up would be their year..

looks like tressel and OSU might get to meet Georgia next year. I think they only started 5 seniors this year. OSU might decline the invitation if it is an SEC school. I believe OSU is now 0-9 against SEC teams in bowl games

on the finebaum show over here in bama, a sports talk show, about two to three weeks ago they had Beano Cook on the show. i have never been a fan of his and have always felt he had a trend to brag about the teams from up north. man has he changed his song and dance, he really bragged on the sec and how he felt they would dominate the bowl games and then he made this statement. this is the exact quote from him and i loved it, he asked paul finebaum " do you know what the three toughest conference's are, the NFC, SEC, and AFC." i thought wow this comng from beano cook, one of the best quotes i've ever heard from someone affiliated with ESPN.

I love how LSU stomped on OSU. I remember when the Big Ten President wrote in a letter about how the SEC is full of fast but stupid athletes and that they wouldnt lower their standards to recruit players (paraphrased). He was playing into the belief that everyone down south is a bunch of hicks who barely now how to tie their shoes. I am a diehard Mississippi State fan but I was rooting like an LSU fan for them to take OSU to the woodshed. I wonder how he feels now that for two years in a row his big ten, cream of the crop, where handed their a!@##$ by our fast, so called dimwitted SEC players.
If I'm not in the stands at a bulldog game, I'm in one of the stands in the woods!
