MS Ducks/Charity/St.Judes
Wondering if there would be any interest from members to donate items, hunts, equipment or etc. for an online raffle to a donate lump sum of money to St. Judesin Ms Ducks name? Of coarse it would have to be run by the MsDucks moderators. All raffles would have the same starting and ending date and high bidders posted at end of the bidding. Members could donate what ever to be bid on. i would go as far to donate a one of a kind of my very own Swamprooter Meat Flute! Maybe D Barnes could donate a hunt at his smokin hole or CB Bellhaven 2 month's free duck training. ChampCaller could donate some calling lessons...man this thing could take legs.....I'm new here so maybe this has been done? But I have seen it on another site I visit ( Tradgang) and it's a ton of fun. You find out quickly how many lurkers there are because they too have a lot of fun bidding....Hunt raffles are the most popular since members meet members.......probably raffle would be better started month or two before next duck season.....just my thoughts...

I'd like to bid on a hunt with bigwater and iron grip at one oftheir primo sewage lagoons. Think it would be as fun of a hunt as you could have.

I have seen this type of thing raise a bunch of money on other sites. But Micah would have to say grace over it first, and then someone would have to take charge.
Usually you set up a second forum for "donated items" and then when bidding goes live they bid on the individual threads.

the traditional bowsite i frequent ( tradgang.com) raises around $30,000 a year......They have a separate forum just for the raffle. It generates a ton of activity and all positive towards bottomline helping unfortuate sick children. These raffle generate tons of daily 'hits" with members bidding and talking back and forth to each other on their bids. it's fun to watch plus owners of the site love the increase activity for marketing reasons. So in short I'm putting the ball or "call" in the owners of this site who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet.

I'd bid on a hunt with you at your place
