Never killed many bucks over the years, but today I shot a pretty good one. Our scales top out at 300#, and this one floated past the 300# mark by about 20#, according to the increments on the scales.
First buck I shot was 234#. I still have a hard time believing this deer was 320#, but the scales are brand new and they are on. I hung my fat butt from them last week just to make sure.

Well, I had a lot of money, but to the city went
I met too many good looking girls and that's where my money went
Yeah I know just where it went
No I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.
The deer i posted last week was in that neighborhood, looked to be 230 - 250 but we didn't weigh him cause he was stanky.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

265lb 8pt in Bentonia in '96. That is the only one I can be for sure. And that deer was phenomenally huge!!! Shot one this year that weighed 212lbs with no head and no guts, he May have been really close to that 265 deeR IF i had not dismantled him before the weigh in.
