Good deer, was he caped out in the pics, or did you cut it off that close? Just wondering.

Yea,
They are old loads. My dad loaded them back in the day and I have seen those things do some real damage. So may be the powder or primers went bad???
Anyway, I am going to stick with factory loads for a while :D

Very nice! If I see one of my heavy bodied culls this next week, you want the cape?

I had the same problem with my dad's shotgun loads.. If you could cram them down the barrell you had about a 60% chance of them going off. But if they did you best hold on.. He could make a 28 guage kick like a 12..

Thanks, but the taxidermist has one off an older deer that he says will look about like him.

Which Taxidermist did you use? There is a guy in Carrolton that does jamup work. I'm sure you know his name.

I took him to Danny Ratliff. He does nice work on deer and elk, etc.

He works out of his house around Cruger.
