i dont even take a gun.... when i look at them and yell bang.... they fall at 300 yards.

new report on black cloud... kinfolks of mine just told me that black cloud was some bad chit.. now he's a very reliable sorce. said he shot some ducks at 92 yards with BB's. he checked them with a range finder before making the shot. said he gave them a school bus lead and folded'em up. naw just kidding he said at close range it folded them up but so does 2 3/4 steel at close distances..

You guys shooting ducks at 75 yards should see about getting an appearance on Flyway Hiway with Greg and Harold. They can show you guys how to wack and stack at up to at least 85-90 yards. Buy those extra full chokes and see just how far you can Sky bust.

I'm definately no "holier than thou", "duck hunting God", or "perfect hunter", but I would never take a shot at a duck over 40 yards, even on the last shot. The goal of duck hunting is getting them into your spread, or at least looking at your spread. If you are going to shoot 75 yards whats the point of decoys? Just shoot them as they cross the tree lines. Boy I should have thought of that before I spent all that money on dekes.

I bought a box to try them out myself and I can say there is not much difference than regular steel shot. I'm sure everyone has a different opinion but I was not impressed. One of the guys with me hated them. Not bad to kill crippels.

Same exact load as the old Winchester Supreme 1 !/2 oz 1500 fps. Badass loads but they were so expensive plus they would tear up most auto's winchester discontinued them. I've still got a couple of cases left and they will reach out and touch something. I'm not the least bit worried bout killin ducks with em at 50-60 yds.

Tried the blackcloud ammo the other day, 3 1/2" #2's. Thought we had a bird coming in high so i took a shot at it. figured maybe I missed since he never even flinched. Come to find out NASA had a satelite go out due to steel pellets in the thrusters. Really though I amm not really that impressed with it. Kent is just as good if not better.

You can kill ducks at 50, 60 and 70 yds with standard steel shot loads. There's nothing special about the BC.

I truly do hope you're being sarcastic.

I shot a piece of a box of Black Cloud this weekend. 3.5" BB's that the in-laws gave me for early Christmas. First shot folded a duck in half at 25 yards. Second shot crushed a duck at about 30 yards getting out of the hole. Third shot was a squib where the shot rolled out the end of my barrel, and I had to tear the gun apart with ducks flying everywhere to get the goofy thick sabot wad out of my barrel. The forth shot was a misfire, dented primer with no "bang" as ducks were hovering like moths. Shot a few more shells to finish out my limit, with one more case of either a light primer strike or bad primer, and went back to camp. Discovered at camp that my most main favorite choke tube was now bulged, and had to use pliers to get it out of the gun. It was not bulged when I screwed it in before the hunt Sunday morning. I have witnesses to all of the above that were laughing at me hysterically the entire time. Its nice to have friends.

I hope y'all love that stuff, and eat it up with a spoon. I will NEVER put that chit in one of my guns again, EVER.
