you will need to register the dog at Dog'sUnlimited, pay 450 a year to keep him legit, this includes all paper work. It's an extra 100 or so added for public land. Tell him that he has to keep accurate records, if you think the irs is bad, wait to the boys from Dog's Unlimited get on ya. Also, don't quote me on this, there's different rate fer different colors. Being black's are the cats meow, they charge a premium to allow you to hunt with one.

I'm hoping your talking about hunt test? IF not im illegal as he!!

That also depends on what you are going to hunt. Small game such as rabbits and squirrels require one type of dog permit, upland game requires a special migratory permit for your pup, and waterfowl requires an additional federal dog permit. Of course, you can get the 'All-in-One' license, that way you can use him to hunt everything. However, the waterfoul dog permit is still required regardless of whether you get the 'All-in-One' or not.

If you have any additional questions, I am sure that the Department of the Interior can answer them for you. (They are the ones who regulate these permits.)
Nobody owes you anything.

The only paper you have to have is the paper to wipe his butt when he takes a dump because it is illegal for a dog to walk around with a dirty butt on public land.

You know....use to be in ARKANSAS you did have to buy a permit in order to be able to hunt your dog. SERIOUSLY. Seems like it was $7.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
