Anyone have any luck so far over there? My buddy just called from Greenwood, and said those catfish ponds were coverd, so many birds the sky looked black! I will be hunting there on Dec. 26...hope its good...

Lots of ducks!! I hunt private land over there and it's hard to get ducks on my place any other day but Saturday and Wednesday!! SHOW UP FOR YOUR HUNT!!!! There are lots of ducks, NO CHIT!!!

I'll be there with bells and whistles on...and dog or two..haha...what kind of speard are most folks using over there..just trying to think of how much gear to pack...ill be in mahannah the weekend before so I'll have a good bit, but can't pack it all...

evenpar1020, my freind and I killed 9 a few weekends ago. teal, shovler, and a pintail. good luck on your christmas hunt!

Went down to Lake George last two days did not kill hardly nothing. What we did kill was woodies.

pintails!!!!! Nice...might finally get some wall furniture! So what type of gear where you using..how many dekes, mojo's? i hunted there last year and it was awesome birds all over that morning...we set up in the same pond they were in, but left early on the wrong end of the pond...probably just should have went out and stood in the middle with them...anyways, don't think we got drawn for that same pond this year anyways, but just curious how you guys went about hunting that situation...

just an update, killed 3 limits...mallards, gadwalds, teal, and some shovies...nice hunt...lots of birds there...
