No, can't say I've ever had that happen to me, nor heard of it. What pieces fell?

it all came apart. i don't know the name of the parts. but heck the firing pin thingy even came out.
the forarm came apart from the gun, the glider that the pump slides down the forearm came apart, then the firing pen part fell out.
it was a big ol mess

Holy cow. Got anybody that might have thought they were pulling a joke on your or something? That sounds like too many unconnected, unrelated things to just happen. Weird.

I broke the forearm assembly on an 870 super mag a few years ago. Sheared the screw cap pretty bad. I bought a nova and that broken 870 is still sitting in the closet. Cheap fix but I shoot the nova better

Postby SFDdelta1 » Mon Dec 17, 2007 10:19 am

i have shot the same one since i was 12. it works rain sleet or snow.

well unless you drop in the water when its around 10 or so then it freezes solid when you pull it out of the water.

i have never had mine come apart like that.

sounds like someone got you good

we usaly just unload your shotgun

I am gonna go out on a limb here and say that if you destroy a Browning Gold AND a Remington 870 then you don't know how to take care of your stuff.

Just my opinion...take it how you want it.

It's obvious you didn't have the cap on tightly, that's the only way that would've happened.
