some of the corn fields maybe, yes on the sloughs, best hunting in the delta.

Being i'm a nice guy and all pm me when you decide to head there, my neighbor runs the place, he should be able to help you out, plenty.

That place is so tough to get into, don't be surprised if you have it all to yourself. I can guarnatee it during the week. It's a Gadwall hole if there ever was one.

Yazoo Refuge is closed to duck hunting. They will let you hunt snow geese sometimes if you go by or call the office for a special permit.

Yazoo National Wildlife Refuge offers excellent white-tail deer, squirrel, rabbit, and raccoon hunting opportunities. The deer muzzleloader and deer archery hunts are among the most popular hunts in the State. Because Yazoo National Wildlife Refuge was established to provide sanctuary for migratory waterfowl, the refuge is closed to duck hunting. ATV's are prohibited on refuge roads and trails; however, all refuge roads are open to foot traffic except where posted. Consult the current brochure (click the Learn More link below) for details.

Well they sure as hell don't do anything for the ducks up there! And haven't for years! Hope the new manager will at least pump a little water and not cater to the damn deer hunters!

Most of the National Wildlife Refuges in the MS Delta were established as waterfowl sanctuaries. This usually means that atleast 60% of the refuge must be managed as a waterfowl sanctuary and the remaining (up to 40%) can be open to waterfowl hunting.
