Damn it I forgot that i am in the presence of the greatest waterfowl hunters on earth. I forgot most of you shoot nothing but drakes and that they MUST be inside your spread. And by the way the bird, which was at least 75 yds was a third shot type kill and if you don't believe me I could give a $hit just keep taking your 15- 20 yard shots and don't dare try to kill a duck escaping your spread if it's "too far" for a real duck hunter.

I will give it a shot again but that bird was pretty close and i shot the underbelly. and ive killed ducks with cheaper ammo at farther distances.

I shot a duck at 75 yrds once. I shot it with a double ought .357 nitro pistol pumper super wizard hooleypopper. One pellet went straight through his eye and killed him dead. I'll show you the mount of the one eyed bird if you want. We had to remover the gold, platnium, and plutonioum bands for federal reasons but I have those too in a lead lined safe. Hell the bird still has the satellite/gps trasponder on it.

75yrd. Please.

Maybe you or your buddy or bigfoot or whoever made that shot was able to smoke a bird flying over at 40yrds and it fell down at about 75yrds out but comeone.

All this really does is help my post count.

I really need to be in church.

75 is a bit much, I dont think anyone is doubting you about killing the bird but man 75 yards is along way!!!! even for a lead shot kill. Are you sure that it wasn't one of those 30 or 40 yard getting the heck out of dodge shots and he hit the h20 bout 60 and with wind drift and out going tide the retreive was 75./

No dude...get your little pink panties out of a wad...fa real.

Nobody claimed they were duck hunting gods. That title only goes to bigwater.

I wasn't saying it couldn't be done. I was just stating my personal opinion that shooting 75 yards out at ducks just seems like it's taking the sport out of it just a its bitsy bit. My personal opinion. I said nothing against you in my original post.

Going by your post you really despise all of us duck hunting "geniuses", if that is so then well...

GET THE HELL OUT!!!

You can kill ducks at 50, 60 and 70 yds with standard steel shot loads. There's nothing special about the BC.
