Sound familiar?

Rudy...Romney...Thompson...McCain? Don't make me laugh.
Thompson maybe... I need more info on him... I have been looking into Mike and NOT liking what I see and read...
OK I have given you articles and Fact what the man has done....
But he is not and never will be a true conservative....Sorry..
Just the facts....
He is "Bush like" on illegals...
He doesn't have a problem taking money from your pocket and giving it to the Government...
I think the Government big enough at it is...

In my opinion each candidate should set up interviews with talk shows or the media to answer the questions. Yes there are a lot of reports from people on many different things people have done or not done. IMO, Mike H. is the best candidate for the position at this point in time. The issues and reports that surface can not be addressed in debates....they are not allowed enough time. For myself personally, I will not take the word or any report from a news paper and not want to hear the other side of the story. Then take the story's for both sides and do my own fact finding. Peoples opinions don't mean that much to me, but when a person is accused of something, he should have or should TAKE the opportunity to clarify his/her position. I'm just a simple country boy, don't consider myself to be an expert of politicians, but I can see in Mike H. something that I don't see in the rest of the candidates..... sincerity, humbleness, commitment, and values that match a lot of my own personal values. I don't see those in Guliani, McCain, Romney, definately not Ron Paul. Tom Tancredo (sp?) is not qualified to be a US rep let alone presidient, the same goes for Ron Paul. Hunter doesn't get enough time to give his positions. I kinda like him some, but he doesn't stand a chance. Thompson I thought would be the man, but my support has moved to Huckabee. Just my 2 cents

Well said.....
We are in the same boat... I am leaning towards Tommy or the Mormon.... Don't know yet.... I have seen what RINOS can do to a party... They can and do secure the liberals in power by demoralizing the base...

I can't disagree with the position Mike espoused in this debate. He made his position very clear.
It took forever to down load, I have dial up.. Anyhow, that is a Great answer... I would have liked to a seen him say something like; You mean do I believe in Jesus Christ??? Yes..... This country was and is founded on the belief in Christ... How else can you explain in the first 200 years we put a man on the moon and the life expectancy has doubled.. Did Man get that smart that quick?? What about the 1st 1000 years??? What happened??? Nothing, OK the wheel... This is the 1st and county that was founded on this belief... Because of this we have the best country the earth has ever seen... China, Japan, and the Mid east had been here for 1000's of years... All of the modern world as we know it is because of the belief in Jesus..
I could go on...

Like I said. Look at Mike's platforms. Take a look at the Fair Tax and tell me again that he is after your money and wants to waste it. Tell me he doesn't have this country's economy in his best interest. At least answer whether or not you have any idea what the Fair Tax is.
Let me give you a few points from it.
It is a straight consumption tax. It completely erases the 3 headed hydra, also known as the IRS. The IRS that costs us DIRECTLY, billions of dollars a years. The IRS also hand cuffs business' in the this country.
The Fair Tax eliminates taxes on business', allowing them to opperate profitably IN THIS COUNTRY, and not have to move overseas or to Mexico to stay afloat. It allows local businesses to actually compete with AMERICANS as employees.
There are no taxes on groceries. People living below the poverty line are not taxed. This allows people who are actively trying to better their social situation, to climb the economic ladder, where in today's system, they are held back by sales taxes, income taxes, business taxes, corporate taxes, and taxes on their retirement.
This is also a way to Tax people who were avoiding paying taxes, ie illegal aliens. They will have to pay taxes for everything they buy. They will not recieve the exemption that Citizens, and legal residents get.

I think he said it exactly how he meant to say it, and not how he thought he should say it to please everyone else.

And find out the facts directly from him. Take close notice of the Tax and immigration section. That is where you seem to be most mistaken. His view points have not changed, nor will they at the whim of the polls.

I guess the pledge he signed to not raise taxes doesn't matter? I'm not going to try to persuade any one to vote any way. The article you are quoting I'm sure was written by someone that had a hidden agenda. I will stick to my gut feeling until later on in the campain. There will be a lot more said and positions explained down the road. I'm an independant, I don't vote for republicans or democrats..... I vote for who I feel is the best candidate. They can be from any affliated party or no party at all. I don't count any of them out......well except the dems because they are just (in my opinion) looney. They have all gone off the deep end and will not protect the American people from anything, and will not lead this nation to a better place...... At least none of the ones running anyway. Let them explain thier positions.... Let Huckabee explain his position on the article you point out.... Then come tell me what you think about him.
