MS opener

Pretty good opening weekend. Opening morning five ducks mallards and teal, Saturday 4 man limit by 7:15 and Sunday four man limit by 8:00 mainly gads.

That is unbelievable! you must have either been hunting a minnow pond or someones swimming pools because I didn't know there was anywhere in Lauderdale of the surronding counties with enough water in one spot to hold that many ducks! :lol:

Congrats on the good luck though. We didn't kill that many but we did work quite a few and I am still kicking my self in the tail for not taking a shot at the about 25 group of mallards that all but landed about 10 feet from me. They worked perfect, and I didn't shoot because no one else I thought had a shot. Stupid me!!! :evil:

terrible when it comes to numbers... very few ducks but you can't beat that first morning of the regular season in a duck blind

we hunted in a bayou around Drew; it stunk to high heaven. ran a couple of thousand gads /widgeon off of the water early, but they never came back.

did anyone hunting in the area see any greenheads?
