With all do respect, I did not mean cheap asses hunt public land, although that's exactly what is written :? . And by the way I don't have a daddy bought lease like whoever you are speaking of, I work hard for my $#!+. I honestly can look back on post and say "open mouth insert foot" because after hearing the booty rapings I have taken over this issue, I now completely understand the whole "internet scout" deal and I don't blame you guys a bit. SO, I AM OFFERING A PUBLIC APOLOGY TO ALL AND I DID NOT MEAN TO OFFEND ANYONE... Anywho, happy hunting fellas whether it be $#!+ slews, public land, daddy bought leases or your on lease you have worked all year to afford.

Thanks, man. Just frustrates folks to scout dar dix off and then someone get on the internet and say I found thousands of ducks at so and so. The correlation between South Carolina plates and internet posts about public land will make your jaw drop like Jessica Alba naked.

Well, well, well. I had no idea that posting a thread like this on a public site about public land would cause so much grief and chaos for everyone. I certainly do apologize. It is amazing to see the threads from this post and it is clearly evident where the years of experience and knowledge are with some of you guys. The purpose of sharing knowledge and information is to fascilitate the sport and teach others. I have hunted public land all my life and recently aquired some private land. I don't have a daddy to pay for my stuff and have always formed relationships with other hunters to obtain the knowledge. Hell, I don't even have enough money to afford a computer at home or I would have responded earlier. I have never came the table and bitched and moaned like some of ya'll. If it bothers you that much then don't even answer the thread. If you read the thread correctly, I said that is impossible to get to where the birds are and if knew anything about weather, than you know the birds have moved on with the last two fronts. It is no different than a scouting report from some other state. And as far as the OOS's, they will find the information from 10 other sources before reading it on this forum. Part of being an organization is assisting members of that organization. I don't mind taking any forum oos's hunting with me and swapping knowledge. It is part of being human and having ethics and respect. Good luck to everyone and have a safe and prosperous opening day.

PS. Take a child or a friend hunting, unless you don't want them know where you hunt.

Info like this does not teach anyone anything good. It only facilitates lazy hunters and works much like baiting deer. When the area has more traffic than nature will allow, disease and bad habits run rampant. If you want to shoe friends and other 'good people' your secrets that it has taken you years to learn, then do it! That is great. If it were't for friends I wouldn't know anything about hunting birds.
Just remember there are a LOT of CRAZIES on the internet.
It is part of being human and having ethics and respect.

You are right, we appreciate you sharing. and the average hunter (I am being generous) has ethics and respect, but the select few that will take pure advantage of a post like this are what screw it up for EVERYONE.
PS. Take a child or a friend hunting, unless you don't want them know where you hunt

I take friends hunting most everytime, but there are friends I will not take to certain public hunting spots. I carried a friend with me once to one of the last secluded spots on arkabutla. By the end of the season, his 'friends' had built three 'blinds' in the hole.
I said that is impossible to get to where the birds are

Nothing is impossible
