I respect the Yentzen legacy (learned to quack on one) but they are TOO old style and don't sound nearly as good as a DR-85 which is also very easy to blow.
Sound familiar?

I was in Easton, Maryland this weekend with Kent Cullom and the rest of the crew. Kent won the world live duck with a $45 Echo poly double reed. As Kent kept telling everyone who would listen, his routine was 59 and three-quater seconds of pure duck. He did get a great sound out of that call. Four out of the five callers in the world live duck were blowing double reed calls. By the way, if y'all ever get a chance to go to Easton for the Waterfowl festival, you need to go. It was a great time. Hunted on the Chesapeake Saturdy morning with no luck but we had a great time.

There's no doubt that a double reed call puts out more bottom end than a single reed. Last count I got, Kent got about 15 different hens out of that double reed echo.

Mike Pauley had the best quote of the night after the contest Saturday night. We hunted open water on the Chesapeake Saturday morning and didn't kill a duck. Mike said you know why y'all didn't see any ducks, they were all in Kent's call.

That was my first trip. I didn't blow, just watched but there was a pretty strong field. The Waterfowl festival is a very cool event. Lots of antique decoys and art, good food and great calling contest.

DR-85 is nice, ducky sound and easy to blow. I also have a old cut down Duck Commander that is awesome, it will put ducks on the water.

The echo DR is the best in my opinion

The Echo DR has really good highs. To get a good low out of it you will have to tune a little.
