I've got a Nova that rides in the back of my truck and it comes out should my Beretta break or whatever, great gun, patterns well, rattles as bad as everyone has mentioned just be still and it will do fine.

Well Im on my fifth 870 in 40 plus years. I have worn two completely out! Older models. Third supermag. (one was stolen) I just keep another for some of the kneebooters that want to shoot a real gun! I can assure you you can't go wrong with it! Only problem with the older supermags was the recoil pad. You pump 6 or 7 cases of heavyloads (1 9/16oz.) a year thru em and it goes up inside the stock and will swell it beyond repair. The gel pad pretty much eliminated that problem though. One tough gun and doubles up for a boat paddle in a pinch too!

You need to try and locate an 870 SuperMag Wingmaster. I believe that they discontinued this model last year, but I'm sure a few are floating around. This one gun will take care of all your waterfowling needs, and plus the blued barrel and wood stock are "old school."
