Chance,
Please keep us informed on the Hernando event, I've only seen them on tv. I would like to watch. Later on give us details on how to get there.

Where in Hernando is it going to be? On the Highway south of town?

Thanks,
SBE

I believe they have some grounds east of town on Holly Springs rd. Dutch is scheduled to run starting at the Searcy event. I know I'm gonna be at the Hernando event since its close.

The rowdy dawg smashed his tests this weekend. Every mark clean, perfect line manners, and good blinds. Blinds not as tight as norm for him, but thats just a lil rust from hunting season, he's coming back around in a big way.

Saturdays land test had a duck at about 65 yard over 2 rice levees, a duck at bout 110 over 3 levees, and a duck lobbed over a ditch big nuff to drive a pick up through into the neighboring bean field. The rowdy dog jumped completely over that ditch, judge was still laughing about it the next day.

6 straight passes this year so far for rowdy... roll on. Half way to a free jacket.

Both of chances doggies in heat... no play for him, he had to judge. Glad someone owns bitch dogs... and glad its someone else! travis

Dutch went 4 for 4...not saying much since he was in the "started" class...my understanding is that all they have to do is go pick up the bird and bring it back. Hmmmmm. But Jesse said that he could have easily passed any seasoned setup there which makes me feel good. Goose, do you know how the seasoned test is gonna be run at southern flight? Will it be the same diffuculty level as west tenn or will it be harder...He is gonna run Dutch there in seasoned I believe. Anyway I'll be there, by the way...where is it? I have heard off Holly Springs road somewhere, but that's a long road and "somewhere" doesn't cut it. Thanks.

In case you were wondering 4 for 4 means 2 land passes and 2 water passes...a total of 2 "passes". I'm still kinda new at all this hunt test stuff and all the lingo associated with it. Really nice ribbons they gave out.

Got a pair of dem ribbons this weekend myself dutch dog. Killer waterblind sat am... one of those don't lookie like nothing thangs... Did a $#!+ job on it, but one of those, degrees of $#!+ compared to everyone else thangs, still mangaed a ribbon. Smashed sundays tests. Picked up every mark clean again this weekend, so thats a plus. Crept a little on honor, thats big minus...Not nuff to hurt testwise, but enough to tell me thats figgin to be an issue... Will nip dat, immediately.

Only seasoned test I saw was sun land dutch. It was weak. Heard about sun seasoned water, and it didnt sound like a good seasoned test from the set up/diagram I have seen.

If jessie says he's ready, then he's ready. No sweat there.

Yup, one of my best friends hit 500 on sunday.. got one of dem free jackets coming his way. We're at 290 and counting.... travis

Travis, did you happen to run into a guy named Bill Conner?.....fella I met in Canada last Fall......'runs 'goldens'.......from Colorado City. I had e-mailed him last week to line-up another trip and he just answered yesterday......'said he'd been in Memphis all week at a dog trial. He's probably in his 60's. Nice guy to know if you ever get the chance to chat with him.

Hey, congrats to you and Rowdy!

Congrats to 'Dutch', as well!
