just stupid people....

the net in general ain't the best place to get public land info.... but I'd start with a google search..... failing that believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.... and if you do decide to give it a run, remember to look out for a primer gray el camino.....

only public land around Cleveland is Dahomey Wildlife refuge

big tract of land but overhunted and usually not worth the WMA fee

good luck

DeltaFeathersJW,

No one can/will help you with "where to go." That's not a good question. We have spent many hours/days/years and shed much blood/sweat/tears/ and caused many marital sorrows finding public holes.

If your looking for general areas like WMA's or NWR's, it might be better to get to know the crew first and then maybe PM one of us or contact the MDWFP.

If you have any questions about "how to" hunt ducks or "have you ever tried...", I'll try to help as much as my short experience of duck hunting will allow.
Be where they want to be..

Hey fellow newbie check my thread out if you want to get the DL on some sweet spots to whack and stack. One guy has allready offered to take me on a guided hunt to crossgate lake. Bigwater said to meet him at wendy's on hwy 80 opening morning of duck season. You can ride with me if ya want to.
