Question on Pit Blind Resources

Postby eagle700 » Wed Oct 17, 2007 12:41 pm

Can anyone give me info on where to best learn about pit blinds? Things such as pre-fab types available versus constructing on-site, who sells them, prices, and most importantly what to avoid? Thanks!!

If I missed seeing a similar post earlier this year, directions to that post and info would also be appreciated.

Just go on line and Google "pit blinds". You'll find many resources there.

Adam Lylerly at Waldenburg, AR builds them. He built me a new one this year. He's the guy Trip was talking about. Did a real good job on mine ... right to the specs I requested.

Haydels Game Calls has link on their site to some individual pits/tubs that work good in marsh type of areas, but I don't think they would be what you wanted for a rice field.

Depending on where you are, Bill Drake in Batesville did a super job with mine. He has a good design and will modify if you would like. Drake Farm supply is the business.
