Drew is on hwy 49 between parchman and Ruleville. bout 8 miles north of ruleville.

The mallard Manor is about 8 miles from the festival I am sure they are looking into opening their rooms for the event.

Your best bet Snapp is to get a hotel/motel in Cleveland. Its only about a 10 to 15 minute drive. I dont think Drew has a hotel.

If you can swing it, You might could stay with JJ Young and the boys at Six Shooter. :shock:

anybody got a link to this festival.

One of my Buddies was driving through Drew last season and some spook hit his Tahoe with a 40 oz. bottle. that place is nasty.

Snapp, the boys at six shooter got a fine place. Even been featured in delta magazine eating sushi with the private helicopter in the back. I bet theyd let a celebrity such as yo self stay free of charge. That'd make it worth the trip regardless of the festival.

yeah the locals will see a sign and only understand the "wing" part and think it is a free fried chicken festival. Good luck.

Drew is like Clarksdale only on a smaller scale.
Serioulsy, it is nice that there are some people there that are making an effort to clean things up and make them better. Hope it is a success.

I've been reading about these boys from philip, ms. and wondering where they seem to do all these bad deeds at. Seems like it's time someone deals with them on their own terms. Does anyone know where they live? Please pm me if possible.

Below is a picture taken in a secret room below Walker's Grocery in Phillip back in 1996 at one of their "recruitment" parties. The second guy is supposedly still a member. Don't know the whereabouts of the other three whiteys, but the dude in the middle left the Delta and went to Palmdale to become a rapper.
