Yeah...Im actaully from Tuscumbia which is 15 minutes from Killen.....It is outstanding and one of the top courses and clubs in the state....it is nicer than all of the RTJ courses and I have played every RTJ in Alabama including Ross Bridge........It is a very old school country club extremely exclusive and high end.....it is on the tennessee river and there is great bass fishing right there.....i have actually caught more than a few big fish around the boat docks.....It is also a yaht club....oh did i mention there are a lot of good looking girls who run around there all summer with a lot of daddy's money to spend

PM me if you want any more info.

Turtle Point is a good golf course and Glen is a great Superintendent.
If you want a great work experinence, come work for me at Old Overton.

Looks like you have a decision to make.

Where are you located? I have worked on a course since I was 15 but both courses were small budget Country clubs and I really need more experience. Shoot me a pm with some contact information for you please.

first you need to narrow it down to which area would work and start calling some of these places now so you dont move to the beach and dont get to fish mobile and the surrounding areas have some great courses RTJ are all nice all the ones on the beach you just have to figur out where you wanna go (resorts and work 70 hrs a week youll make some serious dough for the next hunting season maybe get a little beach time meet some good looking women who come thru the area or go further north and prolly wont work as long of hours)

Work is not the problem I want to work as much as I can, (hell I was pulling 60+ at Starkville Country Club the last 3 summers) but all my teachers and other students in the classes ahead of me tell me to stay away from the resorts. My uncle is a salesman for Harells Fertilizer and he calls on part of Ala so he has been pretty helpful in telling me some nice places to go. I want be able to co-op until summer but I would like to go ahead and get it set up before Christmas so I can go look at the place durring spring break and I want have that stuff on my mind durring christmas or duck season

I'd jump on any chance if I were you to work at Old Overton in a heart beat, really nice. Also some of the biggest deer in the state of alabama live very close to the course. You could try Shoal Creek, its probably a long shot but its still a shot. There are several clubs in the Birmingham area that will atleast sow an interest. Just call early
Take it easy and if its easy take it home.

Kiva Dunes is actually in Fort Morgan. very nice couse but it's still suffering from storm damage. There's not a straight tree on that course.
