First Pope and Chop
105 1/2
Shot Friday morning at 6:34 AM
Lord it was muggy that morning and I really did not want to go, but had a buddy at camp that proded me a little, it didnt take much......I was hunting in the middle of a pine thicket over looking 2 persimmon trees. I was cussing myself because I had forgotten my bowholder, which meant I was going to have to hold my bow the whole time.....that was a godsend...I got setteled in the stand at 6:10, I have one shooting lane to the trees, you can not see a deer until it is in the lane....At 6:34 he walked in looking for persimmons....I said Lord just let him look the other way so I can draw, he did and I did, 23 yard shot, ran 40 yards and piled up.
Sorry about the pics they are off my camera phone.
