any of you Jackson/Canton guys

Postby crowder critter » Sun Sep 30, 2007 7:13 am

Did any of you Jackson/Canton guys happen to know a fellow named Butch Bridges. He was killed last Wednesday on his motorcycle down there. He was an electrical engineer for Nissan. Just wondering if any of you may have been friends with him. He was my cousin.

I used to call on Nissan a few years back and got to know Butch pretty well. This is the first I heard about it and I am very sorry for your family's loss. Butch was a great guy.

Thanks for the comments fellows. Butch will truly be missed by all that knew him. His motorcycle buddies took him to rest in style though. I have never seen so many motorcycles in a church parking lot or at a cemetary. We did not need the backhoe to cover the grave. After the family followed the tradition of putting the first dirt in the grave, all of his "brothers" had the honors of finishing the task. It was very respectful.
