Heard that he beat ( killed ) girlfiend with a Iron pan and possibly raped her.

Hope he gets the same cell Earnest Lee Hargon got when he gets to jail.

Her name is Heather Spencer.....I knew her well, and know her mother even better.....is very tragic....her mother linda, just got remarried and moved to michigan, and, according to wife who talked with her today, is feeling guilty for moving....very sad...

he beat her with a rubber mallet on a bad LSD trip 3 months ago, and she went back to him while in rehab bc she said is was due to bad drugs and that was not the george bell she knew....

well, he got out of rehab on saturday, and she is dead on tues....i had only met that dude a handful of times, and seemed ok, but that dude would have been better off pulling the trigger on himself than giving up....they both had history of doing some drugs together....

capital murder, death row, booty pumped at parchman......wish he would have saved our tax dollars...

Saw where she grew up in Delta also. Skeeter is her brother Xan that used to own the Xan's diner?

IF the father is any of the Spencers I went to school with in Indianola, he better hope and pray he never gets out of police custody or prison. He wouldn't last a day out on the street. That is a fact.

Sick "illegitimate child". This reminds me somewhat of the Hodgkin case in Oxford, back in the 80s, when Hodgkin brutally murdered that Gillies girl in a rental house just off of the intersection of Univ. Ave. and North Lamar. Exctasy use was suspected to be involved in that situation.

Are you sure?.. Dang.. He has built a couple of houses in our neighborhood. And have talked with him on several occasion.. I see him just about everyday going in and out of the neighborhood..

Cwinkler, I was asking if that was him. If you see him around here, it is not the same one . I just saw in the obits where she had a brother named Xan and I thought I remembered him being from Indianola. I couldn't remember the Xan's Diner guys last name.

Ok, I don't think so.. Because He and his Dad are building the homes together and the Company is called Lamar Builders..

No, his last name is Vineyard and his sister's name isn't Heather.

I completely agree, and that normaly is what happens, but in this case, this guy had committed a murder and had to be taken into custody. Therefore, it was a standoff. He never posed an immediate threat to anyone other than himself, that is why he wasn't shot.

I remember that well and Doug was a member of the fraternity that I pledged that same fall. There was an interesting article in the DM a few months ago about the fact he was coming up for payroll. His butt is still in prison where he should remain forever. Sick bastards.
