how long??

You folk know alot got a question
got her spayed yesterday, she is 9 months BLF and has been doing great training... how long before she and I can get back to BUSINESS :?: :?:

I would ask the vet. to be sure. It takes females longer to recover after being fixed than it does males. The surgery is just more serious. Shouldn't take too long though.

at least 2 weeks IMHO.
but probably closer to a month.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

i waited about a month to run my blf after her surgery, just to be safe. remember, we are asking these dogs to do stuff most vets dont get to see... so i think it is safer to wait.

it is still hot anyway, so wait as long as possible cause the heat will tire her faster after the surgery

One week after surgery the stiches are removed and the dog can go back to training according to my Vet.
