Millsaps 94-96 SAE

Miss State 96-98 Didn't affiliate (grad school; no time), but all my roomates were Kappa Sigs so I usually hung out there.

I was at the first rush SAE had at Millsaps once you got your charter in '89 or '90 (was rush chairman that year)- big group came down to help out. Seems like I remember it went pretty well bids-wise for a fledgling chapter, not sure though, those brain cells were snuffed out a LONG time ago!

Ole Miss - SAE pledge class of 1986, active through 88 (we had some charter issues at the time ) phi alpha

I remember that, don't feel bad, we had those charter issues about the same time (pizza man incident) and then it hit Mother Mu a couple of years later! A top guy from National was at our house when he got the news that they had to make the decision to terminate Mother Mu or only pull charter for a little while (super secret suspension) and deal with the school's Executive Office backlash - he was really at odds with himself about which to do. Took the charter route and they moved off campus for a while.... just couldn't stand the thought of killing her.

I think that statement is true across the board. It seems that the numbers aren't what they use to be and these new rope suckers are near as cool as we were! I think everyone thinks the younger groups let the places go to hell. I remember Bigwater and his brother use to tell us ya'll sob's ain't a mite on cows booty compared to how we rolled. Thus they pull the rope a little tighter each year on the frat rats and you can't get away with what you once could. I can't remember who the President was later on in my tenure but that dude hated all that was Greek.
